Lehua Rock with Seasport Divers 6/4/2011
Published July 5, 2011 | I think I can speak for everyone aboard when I say we had a blast on our Lehua rock dive trip!
We had an all star crew, and a boat full of competent divers. Really though, a dozen friends on a boat all day–whats not to like? Well, except for the fact that we all want to do it again A.S.A.P.!
Three tanks of NITROX was not enough to explore all the ocean wonders Lehua has to offer. (I don’t think 300 tanks would be enough.)
There was an abundance of sea life, cliffs and ledges that dropped into the seemingly bottomless abyss, a 200 ft. visibility, and more caves and lava tubes than we knew what to do with. We were able to drop almost immediately to 130 ft. (something you can’t really do on Kauai). It was a perfect time for a group picture!
My D700 was in the water housing the whole day. All of the above-water pictures were shot with my infrared converted D70. From where I was standing, it kinda gave the whole day a “Wizard of Oz” feel.

Big Island Hawaii 5/2011
Published July 3, 2011 | My recent birthday trip to the big island was amazing! We saw many things I will never forget. From the near top of the world to the depths of the sea, it was filled with adventure.
It’s not often enough that one gets to share the creation of lifelong memories with a handful of good friends. This was one of those trips that reminds me not to ever pass up the chance of a good adventure.
For the lucky ones who were there, and for those of you who were not able to make it to the Big Island with the 7 of us, I’d like to share with you some of the highlights of the trip.

Published June 29, 2011 | Welcome, and for some of you, welcome back! Thank you all for your patience and continued support.
Thanks to the help of the wonderful Christian Vazquez and his lovely wife Charity, I have a whole new website experience for everyone to enjoy! It’s a work in progress so please bear with us while we continue to improve/finish the new site.
Some of the things you should expect to see in the near future are the coming of the store front – so we can start to fulfill those orders for the anxiously awaiting fans.
I will also be sharing with all of you my recent trips and explorations, as well as plenty of exciting updates to the galleries.
I have always taken photos for my own personal enjoyment and I have been working a long time towards what I feel is a very close goal at this point — which is to take my photos out of my personal collection and be able to offer them to the world for enjoyment, whether it be online or hanging on your wall!
So please check back often or become a fan on facebook to keep up-to-date on all the new images to come. And those of you whose picture I have taken in the past, I will be doing my best to get through my archives and post them all.
